Cecily Raine is a singer and songwriter from Sacramento, California. She began piano lessons early and wrote her first song For Emily when she was twelve. She studied music in college and has a music composition degree.

In 2006 she recorded her album Sleep in Port Townsend, Washington. It was released in 2007. She now lives in Los Angeles, California in the hills of Altadena.
